Broadband in Rural Areas

With the discussion on uncovered areas (the so-called "White Spots") we refer to the fact that "classical", i.e. vertically integrated, network operators in some regions do not  roll out their networks because from an economic point of view it is not viable. Hence, there are a lot of White Spots especially in rural areas, where broadband connections are insufficient or even non-existent. Areas affected by lack of broadband coverage therefore have to cope with a range of serious economic consequences.

For a long time SBR Juconomy Consulting has dealt with all technical and economic aspects (also legal aspects in cooperation with SBR Schuster Berger Attorneys-at-Law), which are important for communities requesting or  implementing broadband networks. Starting with a free information meeting, followed by a feasibility study and the development of a detailled proposal up to the project handling - the services of SBR Juconomy are neutral, flexible and tailored to the particular needs and requests of the communities. Because of the direct involvement in the telecommunications sector in Germany
and Austria SBR Juconomy always has up-to-date information.

The first move has to be done by the communities which means that they have to broaden their view on the broadband issue to be able to take the right decision. To this end we collect and present information, which point out the essential aspects of broadband. This list will be continuosly extended and updated.
