Dr. Natascha Freund, LL.M.

After completing her law studies (1991-1997) and a post-graduate course in European law (LL.M), Dr. Natascha Freund, who was born in Vienna in 1971, worked in the telecommunications, unfair competition and regulatory law department of Telekom Austria AG, Vienna. During this period, she dealt with telecommunications and unfair competition law, as well as regulatory agendas, and oversaw every aspect of the market presence of Telekom Austria AG. In this connection, Dr. Freund also attended to all matters concerning the Act Against Unfair Competition. In addition, she contributed to the formulation of standard business conditions and contracts, and to product development. In 2006, while employed by Telekom Austria AG, she was awarded her doctor's degree in legal science. Thereafter she worked as a trainee lawyer for the law firm Fellner, Wratzfeld und Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH. 

In 2008 Dr. Freund joined the competition regulation team of Rundfunk- und Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH, where she conducted market analysis and interconnection procedures. Her field of work also encompassed number porting and roaming.

The English skills acquired by Dr. Freund while pursuing her legal career – she holds the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English of the Cambridge Institute in Vienna – are now benefiting SBR Juconomy Consulting AG, where she has been working as a legal expert since 2012.

Dr. Freund is well qualified as a certified social councellor as well as marriage and family counsellor. She performs these duties about her own company copala (www.copala.at).
