The Bahraini regulatory authority TRA has initiated a liberalisation process for .bh domain names. In a project which was tendered last fall consulting services and software development for the aim of reaching 100 000 domain names within three years were requested. SBR and the Austria domain name registry nic.at (www.nic.at) jointly won this bid and are currently conducting the specification phase. Further information can be found here.
