On 15 April, 2009 the regulatory authority of Austria RTR hosted a workshop regarding roll out and co-operation models for broadband access infrastructure. The workshop focused the current development of the Austrian broadband market regarding these issues and addressed interested parties from network operators, service providers, public administration, utilities, politics, reseach and municipalities / administration. Matthias Ehrler gave a presentation on international examples for fibre projects and national roll out plans for fiber optic networks. The presentation can be downloaded here.
