Fibre Optics allows new operation models in the telecommunications market

The regulatory decisions of the year 2009 will strongly influence competition on the German telecommunications market in the future. This especially holds true for broadband business. The regulation of access line tariffs, the discussion of bitstream access and the regionalisation will determine the necessary investments of network operators of NGN/NGA especially concerning the international development of FTTx-strategies based on fibre optical networks.
